We investigate, in Skyrme model, structures of matrix elements of the weak transitions between low-lying baryons. The weak interaction is assumed to be of the current × current type, where the current is the SU(3)_f-octet left-handed Noether current obtained from the action of Skyrme model. Although the ΔI=1/2(or octet) dominance is obtained for the weak transition, which is quantitatively very similar to the quark model, structures of relevant matrix elements are qualitatively different between these two models. Due to this situation, smallness of Ξ→Σand Ω→Ξ^* transition amplitudes is not derived in Skyrme model. It is pointed out that Ξ→Σγ and Ω→Ξγ as well as Ω nonleptonic decays are important in order to clarify what is lacking in the present form of Skyrme model.
