Octet Dominance of Weak Transition in SU(3) Skyrme Model : Particles and Fields

We first describe the formalism of calculating SU(3) matrix elements especially beyond the semi-classical approximation and apply the method to the octet dominance process in weak transition of hadrons. We assume the effective interaction to be of current × current type. As a result, we show that the manifest octet dominance is not obtained for the algebraic parts in the newly added amplitudes when we go beyond the approximation, but the octet dominance obtained previously in the approximation remains to hold good due to the difference of magnitudes among the relevant overlapping integrals.
