<RESEARCH REPORT>Ion Beam Generation and its Applications with "HARIMA-II"

We tried ion beam generation with an "Inverse Pinch Ion Diode" by using a newly constructed pulse power generator "HARIMA-II". The ion beam with the energy of 170 keV was obtained, and its peak value of the total current was 12kA. The main component of the ion beam was found to be hydrogen.
