Cu-NQR Study of Spin-Charge Stripe Order in La2-x-yEuySrxCuO4 with x=1/8

The Cu-NQR spectra were measured in a wide temperature range from 300 K to 1.5 K to investigate the ordering process and the structure of the static spin-charge stripe order in La2-x-yEuySrxCuO4 with x=1/8. The usual NQR spectrum observed above the structural transition temperature, Td2=138 K, from LTO to LTT shows the decrease of the signal intensity below Td2 due to the rapid increase of the spin echo decay without change of the lineshape, and the signal wiped out completely below 40 K. We assigned the temperature $T_{\text{charge}}\simeq 85$ K, at which the spin echo decay rate increases abruptly, as a representative one for the slowing down toward static charge stripe ordering. Below $T_{\text{spin}} \simeq 8$ K, the signal starts to reappear as an abnormally broad spectrum with a tail extending to 70 MHz or more, which is evidence of the static spin and/or charge order. The spectrum is simulated satisfactorily in terms of the stripe order with the modulation amplitude for the Cu moment of about 0.22 µB.
