Crystalline LiNb<I><SUB>x</SUB></I>Ta<SUB>1−<I>x</I></SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>(0≤<I>x</I>≤1 films were prepared from complex alkoxide solutions, controlling the ratio of Nb to Ta by means of a dip-coating method. The present work revealed the dependence of the film thickness on the concentration of the solution and the speed of the withdrawal of the substrate from the solution, the effects of water on the crystallization of the films, and the effects of the structures of the substrates on the crystallinity of the prepared films.
