• The correct structure of the title compound was elucidated to be cyclohexyl(2,2-diphenyl-1-hydroxy-ethyl)phosphine oxide, which seems to be formed via migration of a phenyl group, from the NMR spectral data and synthesis of the dimethyl derivative.
