The ν2+ν6 band of methyl fluoride has been measured with a high-resolution infrared spectrometer. The molecular constants are obtained with the least-squares method. The effect of the x,y-type Coriolis interaction is discussed and the theoretical spectra are compared with the observed spectrum.
