A horizontal laminal flow bio-clean operation room with a ceiling suspended image intensifier has been constructed for not only to replacement surgeries for example THR, but also to general orthopaedic surgeries.Some special modifications to the ceiling suspension mechanism were done for protect to increase of floating dusts caused by operation of the image intensifier.Counting test of floating dust particles and culture examination of micro-organism after slit-sampler method showed satisfactory good results.In orthopaedic surgery, it is very convenient that the fluoroscopic operation is possible in the bio-clean condition.
