To know the drag coefficient and the added mass coefficient of plane nets in wave and water flow, the fluid force action on the plane nets were measured in a large fluid dynamical towing tank, the drag and added mass coefficients were calculated. The main results were as follows: The drag coefficients and the added mass coefficients were derived from the wave and water flow which coexisted simultaneously. The relation between the drag coefficient and Reynolds number is shown along the same curve which were obtained in wave only and water flow only. The relation between added mass coefficient and KC number is also expressed along the same curve in wave only. In case of wave and water flow, the KC number becomes large, and so the mass force cannot be disregarded when calculating the fluid force acting on plane nets in wave and water flow that coexist simultaneously.
