In continuation of our work on the Oriental crude drug "ninjin" (ginseng), Panax ginseng roots from Korea, further three glycans, panaxans F, G and H, have been isolated and shown to exhibit notable hypoglycemic activity in normal and alloxan-induced hyperglycemic mice.
