Two cyanogenic glucosides (1,2), one flavan (3), two flavanones (4,5), one flavanol (6), one flavone (7), two chalcones (8,9), two chromones (10,11), two lignan glycosides (12,13), two triterpenoids (14,15), one steroid glucoside (16) and other phenolic compounds (17,18) were isolated from stems and roots of Bauhinia sirindhorniae. The glycosides 12 and 13 displayed promising scavenging activities towards 1,1 -diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical.
