Glaciated terrain classification and change detection is the important parameter for hydrological and climate change modeling. In this paper, fully polarimetric PALSAR data have been analyzed of glaciated area in Himalayan region based on four component scattering mechanism model with rotation concept of 3 x 3 coherency matrix [T] and minimize T_<33> element of this matrix. Rotation concept is applied on multi-looked with 6 times in azimuth and single time rage directions, original coherency matrix. This study shows that the improvement are clearly enlightening in the glaciated terrain features information with rotation concept based modified model as compared to original four component scattering decomposition model in Himalayan glaciated terrain.
