In this paper, the measurement of the air film spacing was done by using PET film. In addition, it was experimented on condition that the relative velocity between film and roller. Furthermore, the flow visualization in the inlet area and the outlet area was done using PIV. As a result, it was clarified how flow between film and roller has film affected. Moreover, it was clarified the characteristics of flow near the inlet area and outlet area. And finally, it was clarified that the influence which these flows gives to film.
