Analysis of the Dynamic Characteristics of the Permanent Magnetic Actuator with Multi-bar Linkage

Coupled the mechanical-electric-magnetic processes, the dynamics model of the permanent magnetic actuator is developed, the validity of which is verified by relevant experimental results. Then the characteristics analysis and optimization design are performed based on the simulation model. It demonstrates that increasing the preload of breaking spring will result in shifting the dynamic characteristics of moving contact and armature forward, while hardly affect the total breaking time; increasing the diameter of the armature will reduce the total breaking time and the exciting current. Finally, the rigid-flex coupled method is adopted to evaluate the mechanical reliability from the view of the stress distribution.
