A new adaptive technique for binary signal compression using the signs of Hadamard transform is presented. This is a quite new technique different from an ordinary compression method of binary signal. The discontinuous points of the binary signal and semi-random binary signal are detected through the sign-only synthesis of the Hadamard transform. And then using the detected discontinuous point the original signal is reconstructed completely. The compression is achieved by using less number of signs of Hadamard transform. The signal is divided with variable length adaptively and then compressed. The simulations confirm us that the compression rate becomes much better even in a semi-random and/or a random binary signal than the traditional method.
