Nippostrongylus brasiliensisに対するコットンラット(Sigmodon hispidus)の感染抵抗性

• コットンラット(Sigmodon hispidus)のNippostrongylus brasiliensisに対する感染感受性を好適宿主であるミラルディア(Millardia meltada)を対照動物に用いて比較検討した.N.brasiliensis伽感染幼虫を皮下感染後,'コットンラットの糞便内虫卵数,消化管内寄生成虫数はともに対照より明らかに低値であった.コットンラットの感染抵抗性がN.brasiliensisの組織内移行期もしくは消化管内寄生期のいずれにおいてみられるかを検討するために,幼虫感染後の肺からの移行期幼虫と消化管への成虫移入後の虫体の回収数を対照と比較した.コットンラットの肺からの幼虫回収数は対照の5分の1であった.小腸からの成虫の回収数は2分の1と対照に比べてやはり低かったが,両者の差は肺からの回収と比較すると少なかった.コットンラットへのカーボン粒子(250-500mg/kg)の投与は肺からの幼虫回収数を著しく増加させたが,成虫移入後の回収数には全く影響しなかった.このことから,移行期幼虫へのコットンラットの抵抗性の発現にはマクロファージの機能が関与していることが示唆された.
