An acoustooptic deflection device having a bent ultrasonic wavefront has been examined. Optimum value of the curvature of the bent wavefront was about 60 cm; both band width and the margin of the incident beam angle for Bragg condition are improved by factors of 2 and 6, respectively, compared to the non-bent cell.
