概要
- 論文の詳細を見る
Complement and literal gates of multiple-valued logic have been implemented optically. These gates are composed of basic optical devices which are multithreshold, linear inverter, and variable thresholding. A liquid crystal light modulator and an electric feedback system realize the basic devices. In these devices, a direction of linear polarization of light is employed for representation of an optical signal strength.
