20,21-Epoxyresibufogenin, a Novel Bufogenin isolated from Bufonis Venenum

From a crude drug, toad cake (Bufonis Venenum), a new bufogenin was isolated and its structure was elucidated as 20,21-epoxyresibufogenin by spectral analysis, mainly by ^<13>C-NMR spectroscopy.
