Aspergillus oryzae RIB-40 was seleced as the most powerful glucoamylase producer of ten strains of A. oryzae. This strain also produced three kinds of glucoamylase, all of them were different from the glucoamylase system of the strain previously reported, and had very weak debrancing and could hardly difest raw starch.
