• A two-dimensional generalization of the higher order approximation in the reduc-live perturbation method is investigated. The fluid equations for plasma are adoptedas the model equations in the two-dimensional spa.ce. It is found that the technique ofrenormalization is applicable to the two-dimensional system such as the fluid equa-lions for plasma.
