We study, by the Hirota bilinear method, multi-soliton solution of ModifiedKadomtsev-Petviashvili equation and of two dimensional Modified Boussinesq equalion with cubic nonlinearity. It is shown first that the former has only two solitionsolution propagating in parallel, but the latter, two solition solution propagating indifferent direction under a certain condition. Independent variable transformation isalso applied to the .V-soliton solution of Modified K-dV equation written in thebilinear form, which is different from that obtained by Hirota, and the N-soliton solu-tion of the 2D Modified Boussinesq equation is obtained.
