Successively to the previous calculation, the dissociative excitation of watermolecule accompanied by the Lyman-c< emission under an electron impact isstudied by the Glauber multiscattering theory. According to the previous resultof the Born approximation, the evaluation is focussed upon the transition 1bz+6a,(=4sa.), which contributes predominantly to the process. The molecular orbitalsused are from the simplest set given by Lin and Duncan, and the inert core modelis employed, where one electron participates in the transition and remaining onesact as an averaged potential. Improved consistent relationashjp with experimentsis obtained by the present calculation, particularly for the intermediate energyregion of the incident electron. The angular distribution of scattered electron isalso reported for 150 eV and 50 eV of the incident electron energies.
