The Hall effect in NbSe. was measured in the non-Ohmic regimes below thecharge-density-wave (CDW) transitions at 142 K and 58 K. In both regimes, relation between the Hall voltage and the current becomes nonlinear above thethreshold electric-field E7 while linear relation remains between the Hall voltageand the electric field. Both nonlinearities of the conductivity and the Hall voltageare consistently explained by taking into consideration a new current-carryingmechanism which contributes only to the conductivity along the Z>-axis above E-(.The new mechanism is attributed to the sliding CDW. In NbSe., the CDW's areexpected to slide only along the 6-axis as inferred from the Ohmic transverseconductivity along the c-axis.
