In a metallic fine particle, the surface effect on electronic properties should be important. NMR lines of Cu fine particles with the average size from 70 to 600 A were observed. The lines show the broadening which depend on a particle size, magnetic field and temperature. It is shown here that the broadening is due to the distribution of the Knight shifts which may be caused by the spatial fluctuation of the electronic spin polarization in the surface region.
