The magnetic properties of the compounds, Mn_xSn (1.5?x?1.9) have been recently studied by one of the authors^<1)>. These compounds have theB8 type stmcture and the saturation magnetization decreases as the manganese content increases. This fact has been interpreted by the assulnption that the excess manganese atom occupied the B-site (Fig.1), and its magnetic moment is antiparallel to that on the A-site and different in magnitude; the compounds are ferrimagnetic. The Curie tem perature is about 260°K. The magnetic moments. of manganese atoms are estimated to be 3.5μ_B on the A-site and 2.2μ_B on the B-site, respectively, where μ_B is the Bohr magneton. Using these samples and a frequency modulated superregenerative oscillator, we observed two nuclear magnetic resonances at liquid nitrogen temperature, one is at 324 Mc and the other at 322 Mc. The absorption signals were very weak and not detected with an autodyne osillator. Therefore any clear information was not obtained about the line shape.
