Hall Effect and Transverse Conductivities of NbSe_3: Evidence for the Sliding Motion of Charge-Density-Wave

The Hall voltage and conductivities perpendicular to the Z>-axis of NbSe3were measured. The former is strongly current-dependent in the non-Ohmicregime, while the transverse conductivities are Ohmic. The results are consistentlyexplained by taking account of the contribution of the sliding charge-density-wave to the conductivity parallel to the Z>-axis.
