Thermopower and electrical resistivity of Hf Tea and ZrTe3, semi-metals with layered structure,were measured. The results on HfTez are compared with the Hall coefficient by Klipstein et at.The electronic properties of HfTex are interpreted in terms of a simple 2-band model. By analogy,the properties of ZrTez are understood similarly.
