Deuteron D-state effects are studied in the exact finite-range calculations forthe "Ni(p, d)"Ni reaction at .Zll'.=52 MeV. The D-state effects on differentialcross sections are still rather small at 52 MeV, and the observed angular distribu-Lions cannot be reproduced in a consistent manner although the quality of fitsare slightly improved.
