Low-lying excited states of "Fe were investigated by using the "Cr ('He,n7) "Fereaction at E...= 8 MeV. A gamma-ray decay scheme has been proposed based on n-7and 7-7 coincidence measurements. The lifetimes of four excited states, as well as thelower limit for the lifetime of the first excited state, have been obtained from theanalysis of Doppler-shift attenuation measurements.
