Effective Interaction in Low-Energy (p, n) Reactions

Angular distributions were measured in the ^<54,56>Fe(p,n) reactions at E_p=28〜35 MeV for the 0^+ IAS and low-lying 1^+ states. DWBA analysis shows that very good fits both in shape and magnitude can be obtained if the odd-state parts of the central M3Y interaction are switched off.
