Dielectric Relaxation in Ba_2NaNb_<5(1-x)>Ta_<5x>O_<15> Single Crystrals

This rat>er rresents the restrlts of dielectric disrersion in Ba*NTaNbs(t ,I)T2L5.O]5(BNNT) single crystals over the frequency range l kHz to 4 GHz. The fundamental dielectric dispersionocctrrs above 10" Hz and is caused by a sof't relaxational mode. This mode gives the main con-tribtntion to the high static permittivity which fits the Curie-Weiss law. The results indicate theanharrnonic naotion of the Nb(Ta) atorrrs and the order-disorder n?tttrre of the proper ferroelectricphase transition in BNNT.
