The effect of hydrostatic pressure on phase tr;xnsitions has been studied by dielectric measurenrents for acetate-substituted clicalcium strontium propionate,Ca.Sr[(C.1-I,COO). .(CH,COO)...1, with ,X'=0.045, 0.10, 0.14. The I-II and II-IIItransition temperatures of .X'=0.045 crystal (256 K and 120 K at 0 MPa, respectively)increase linearly with increasing pressure. The ferrccelectric II phase of ,X'=0. 10 crystalnarrows with application of pressure and disappears at 110 MPa. In the x=O.I4crystal, which does not show ferroelectricity, the temperature at which the dielectricconstant shows a broad maximum increases with increasing pressure. The pressuredependence of the peak value c,.... is expressed by z;,.....= e,f C/ ( p - p.) where C= 225MPa and p.= -27 MPa. There is a parallelism Lcetween the effects of hydrostaticpressure and acetate-substitution on the phase transitions.[CazSr(C,H5CO0),5, acetate-sustitution, high )>ressure, phase transition, fer- ll roelectric[
