We study a current-biased 0-7T-0 Josephson .jtrnction ntade by high-T. superconductors, theoret-ically. When a length of the n: junction is large enovtgh, this jvrnction contains a vortex-antivortexpair at both ends of the m junction. Nlagnetic flux carried by the vortices is calculated usingthe sune-Gordon equation. The result shows that the magnetic flux of the vortices is suppressedto zero as the distance between the vortices is reduced. By applying an external current, theorientation of the vortices is reversed, and a voltage ptnlse is generated. The current neededfor this transition and generated pulse energy are calculated. Macroscopic quantvnm tunneling(MQT) in this transition is also studied. The tunneling rate has been evaluated by an effectiveHarniltonian with one degree of freedorn.
