The finite temperature excitations of the quantum sine-Gordon model and the massive Thirring model are examined by using the Bethe Ansatz method. The propositions introduced by Zotos and Fowler, based on physical arguments, are correct, and Zotos and Fowler's excitations were the isothermal ones. The relation of the Bethe Ansatz excitations to the quantum solitons and breathers is also discussed.
