A Quantum Monte Carlo Method and Its Applications to Multi-Orbital Hubbard Models

We present a f'raztaework of an auxiliary field qttantum Monte Carlo (QIVIC) method for ttaultiorbital Htrbbard rtaodels. Otrr formulation can be applied to a Hatniltonian which includes termsfor on-site Coulonab interaction for both intra- and inter-orbitals, intra-site exchange interactionand energy differences between orbitals. Based on otrr ['rarnework, we point otrt possible ways toinvestigate variotrs phase transitions such as rnetal-insulator, magnetic and orbital order-disordertransitions without the minus sign problem. As an application, a two-band model is investigatedby the projection QIVIC method and the ground state properties of this model are presented.
