Effects of Electron-Electron Interactions on Soliton Lattices in Nearly Half-Filled Peierls Systems

Effects of mutual interactions between parallel spin electrons on the soliton lattice ofa Peierls system are examined in the case of a nearly half-filled band. Soliton latticesolutions of the charge density and the lattice displacements are obtained analyticallyby use of boson representation of fermion operators in the self-consistent harmonicapproximation. The excitation spectra around these soliton lattices are calculatednumerically in both cases of rigid and mobile lattices.
