Quantum effects on the melting temperature triggered by the dislocationmechanism of Kosterlitz-Thouless-IIa1.perin-Nelson-Young are estimated fortwo-dimensiottal Wigner solid. By use of the Wigner representation for thepartition fuuaction we evaluated expansjon coefficieuxts of the shear modulus interms of the Planck constant up to the order of I'. It is shown that there existtwo different expansion paranxeters, 1"/tn'rgT and e"l"/e.tn" ' 7'8I' where m",e., r. and T are effective mass, dielectric constant, average distance and tempera-ture respectively. The result iuadicates the existence of the maximum of the meltingtemperature, T., at around n(a@/a.)'t -10" cm-" with e9(m/m')T.-'2 K wherea. and m are the Bohr radius and the free electron mass and ag=a.egm/m' isthe effective Bohr radius. Effects of weak magnetic fields are also estimated.
