The Httbbard Flamiltoniaut with infinite on-site reptulsion autd negative transfer isdiagonalized nttmerically on 3 X 3 ft'u.';lrctled lattices, sttch as the square lattice withnext-nearest-neughbor transfer and the triangular lattice. The ?xumber of electrons ischosen to be less by j ust one electron than tltat in tlte exactly lcall'-filled band. Whenthe strength of the frustratiort is sufficiently large, a singlet state appears as thegrotund state. Then, the total sjcin of the loxvest excited state is tunity. There is an excitatiomt gap for the square lattice but not for the triangular l?tttice.
