Effect of HCl on ^<27>Al Spin-Lattice Relaxation in Aqueous Solution

The spin-lattice relaxation rates of "AN in both 0.0-H.0 solutioua and H,Osolutioua of AlCl3 were measured at room temperature as a function of the concen-tration of HCI. It is shown that tlae ratio of the relaxation rate ixa the 020-1120solution to that in the H20 solution decreases with the increase of cotacentration ofIICI and reaches the limitirtg value which is equal to the ratio of viscosities ofthe respective solutions.
