Thermalization of energetic (0.7 -3 key) ton beam in a tutrbulent plasma wasstudied experimentally. A helium ion beam was injected into the fluctuatingplasma along the longitudinal magnetic field, and analysect by an electrostaticenergy analyser combined with a Daly-type detector. By measuring also thepotential fluctuation and the c:orrelation time of the tturbulert wave, it was foundthat the experimental results agreed with the theory of stochastic process in aturbulent plasma.
