Specific Heat of Superconducting Fine Prticles of Tin. : I. Fluctuations in Zero Magnetic Field

The electronic sr>ecific heat of fine rartieles of So with the averaze radius ransirtu130-l 100 A has been meas;ured over a temr>erature ranne of 0.47'.-1.57'.. As tlaeparticle size decreases, the reak of the srecific heat due to the superconauctingtransition shifts towards lower temr>erature and becomes broader. This behaviorj5 interpreted as the fluctuations in "zero-dimensional" superconducltors. The term-perature width of the cfitical reguon teaches 0.17'. for the smallest particles. Ajnethod of normalization of the specific heat is proposed to describe the fluctuatiorrspecific heat around 7'.. By use of this metlaod, the experimental data for differentnnrticle sizes can be norntalized to a unified fornt.
