A Note on the Ferromagnetic Resonance in αFe_2O_3

Microwave resonance formulas of a ferromagnet with a small hexagonal anisotropy in a basal plane besides with a uniaxial anisotropy are phenomenologically derived. The comparison with the resonance experiments on αFe_2O_3 single crystals is made and they are satisfactorily explained. A few contradictions with the static measurements are pointed out.
