Effects of Coulomb correlation on hopping motion are examined in a system composed of states distributed randomly in space and energy. It is shown by a simple consideration and a Monte Carlo calculation that the energy necessary to transfer a carrier to a neighbouring vacant state increases with the hopping distance in average. A deviation from the well-known T^<-1/4> dependence of log σ is discussed. The presence of a dip in density of states near the Fermi level is also pointed out.
