Dynamics of Fluctuations in Unstable Systems. II : Evolution Equation of Long Wavelength Fluctuation Spectra

Time evolution equation of the fluctuation spectrum of a TDGL model with the order parameter not conserved which is suddenly brought into a thermodynamically unstable state is studied up to second order in the nonlinear mode coupling. It is shown that fluctuations with wavelenghs shorter than (2Lt)^<1/2> where L is the kinetic coefficient and t is the time act to renormalize various constants in the model, and longer wavelength fluctuations form an autonomous dynamical system described by a closed set of evolution equations for the fluctuation spectrum. A scaling form solution of this set of evolution equations is obtained. A simple stochastic model equation for unstable long wavelength fluctuations is suggested. The case with the conserved order parameter is also briefly discussed.
