The dynatnical density ftrnctional eqtrattion ptrt forth recently in an attetnpt to go beyond thecurrent rnode cotrpling theories of supercooled liquid and glass transitions is solved Icy mappingto the kinetic lattice gas tnodel. Anualyses of the clynartaic strtrcture factor in the initial st?rgeof freezing reveal that the eqtration correctly capttrres the mode cotrpling raaechanistta of' densityfltrctuations.
