A systematic study of charmonium and associated meson states has been performed by making use of mass formula of Borchardt, Mathur and Okubo (BMO). Totally six spin states (J^P=0^-, 0^+, 1^+, 2^+ and two 1^-) are reanalyzed including recently reported χ(3410) and χ(3530) so as to accomodate them 0^+ and 1^+ members, respectively. The lowest mass of charmed mesons is predicted to be the member of 1^+ multiplets and its physical implication is discussed to a certain extent. A method of Primakoff, Pilachowski, Simmons and Tuan (PPST) is extended by including S^* and ψ" states. A reasonable prediction is obtained for some unobserved decay mode.
