A New Estimation of Quark Masses Based on a Non-Relativistic Quark Model

The estimation of constituent quark masses is performed in non-relativistic potential model. The results are m_u(m_d)=420 MeV, m_s=670 MeV and m_c=1920 MeV. Then the current s-quark mass is estimated to be about 250 MeV or 520 MeV. This result for the current s-quark mass does not contradict the naive SU(5) prediction.
