A Few Layered n-Vector Model in the Limit n→∞

The hypercubical n-vector model with finite thickness is investigated in the limit n→∞. Numerical calculations of critical temperatures are performed for system with a few layers where each layer is three-dimensional. It is shown that for free end boundary condition the n-vector model in the limit n→∞ is not necessarily equivalent to the corresponding spherical model.
