Multiplicity Distribution in p-p and K^+-p Collisions at High Energies

The two-component model for particle production is modified by taking into account the effects of the increase of σ_<inel> at high energies. In this model, the average multiplicity not only for nondiffractive production but also for diffraction depends on energy. It is shown that experimental results for the multiplicity distribution in p-p and K^+-p collisions can be explained well be our model.
